Designed as a Trikutalaya, the temple features three sanctums connected by a grand Maha Mantapa, symbolizing a Hari-Hara Kshetra where Shaivism and Vaishnavism coexist in harmony. Carved entirely from black basalt stone, the temple is renowned for its lathe-turned pillars, a hallmark of Kakatiya craftsmanship, polished to a mirror-like finish. The Trikuta layout houses three main shrines: Sri Kasi Vishweshwara Swamy (Lord Shiva) in the central sanctum, Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy (Lord Vishnu in reclining form) in one shrine, and Sri Venugopala Swamy (Lord Krishna with flute) in the third.
