The brothers were renowned for their administrative brilliance and their deep devotion, often commissioning the construction and renovation of temples throughout the Deccan to preserve Vedic traditions during a period of significant political transition. The temple’s architecture reflects a classic medieval South Indian style, characterized by its sturdy stone structures and a serene atmosphere that has survived the rapid urbanization of the surrounding Alwal area. A defining feature of this spiritual center is the large Temple Pond (Koneru) located adjacent to the premises.
