Manibandh Shaktipeeth

Manibandh Shaktipeeth is considered a sacred site connected with the Shakti Peetha tradition in Hindu belief. Devotees regard the temple as a place where the divine energy of Goddess Shakti is present.

Manibandh Shaktipeeth is regarded as one of the sacred Shakti Peethas associated with the worship of Goddess Shakti. According to Hindu religious tradition, the temple marks the place where the wrist (manibandh) of Goddess Sati is believed to have fallen when the body of Sati was carried by Lord Shiva across the universe.
