Temple Historyमंदिर का इतिहासఆలయ చరిత్ర

Harshnath Temple is an important ancient Shiva temple situated on Harsh Parvat in Sikar district of Rajasthan. The temple was originally built in the 10th century during the rule of the Chauhan dynasty. Historical records mention that the temple was constructed under King Vigraharaja and later developed as a major center of Shaivism in the region.

The temple complex once included many smaller shrines and beautifully carved structures spread across the hill. Due to invasions during the medieval period, much of the original temple complex was damaged, leaving behind ruins of several temples and pillars.

Despite the destruction, Harshnath Temple continues to attract devotees and history enthusiasts because of its religious significance, ancient architecture, and scenic hilltop location overlooking the surrounding region.
