Temple Historyमंदिर का इतिहासఆలయ చరిత్ర

Shri Rangji Temple, also known as Ranganath Temple, is one of the largest and most architecturally distinctive temples in Vrindavan. The temple was constructed between 1845 and 1851 by the wealthy Seth brothers, Govind Das and Radha Krishna Das, under the guidance of the Sri Vaishnava scholar Swami Rangacharya. It was established to bring the traditions of South Indian Vaishnavism to the sacred land of Braj.

The temple is dedicated to Lord Ranganatha, the reclining form of Lord Vishnu resting on Adishesha, with Goddess Lakshmi by His side. The temple is famous for its impressive South Indian-style gopuram, expansive courtyards and a nearly 50-foot gold-plated Dhwaja Stambha. Combining Dravidian, Rajput and Mughal architectural influences, Shri Rangji Temple remains one of Vrindavan's most significant religious and architectural landmarks.
