Temple Historyमंदिर का इतिहासఆలయ చరిత్ర
Nageshwarnath Temple is one of the oldest and most revered Shiva temples in Ayodhya. According to Hindu tradition, the temple was established by Kush, the son of Lord Shri Ram. It is believed that Kush lost his armlet while bathing in the Sarayu River, where it was found by a devotee of Lord Shiva. Impressed by her devotion, Kush constructed this temple in honor of Lord Shiva.
Over the centuries, the temple has remained an important center of Shaivite worship and has undergone several renovations while preserving its spiritual significance. The temple is especially famous during the festival of Mahashivaratri, when thousands of devotees gather to offer prayers and perform Jalabhishek to Lord Shiva. Its close association with the Ramayana tradition makes it a unique pilgrimage destination in Ayodhya.
