Dudheshwar Nath Mahadev Temple

Shri Dudheshwar Nath Mahadev Temple is regarded as one of the most sacred Shiva temples in western Uttar Pradesh. Devotees believe that the Swayambhu Shiva Linga blesses worshippers with good health, prosperity and spiritual well-being. The temple has remained an important centre of faith for generations.

Shri Dudheshwar Nath Mahadev Temple is one of the oldest and most revered Shiva temples in Ghaziabad. Mahashivaratri is the most important festival celebrated at Shri Dudheshwar Nath Mahadev Temple. Thousands of devotees gather to perform Jalabhishek using milk, holy water, honey and Bilva leaves. The temple is beautifully decorated with flowers and lights, while special Rudrabhishek, devotional singing and night-long worship are conducted.

The holy month of Shravan is another major period of celebration, particularly the Mondays of Shravan when large numbers of Kanwariyas and devotees visit the temple. Other festivals such as Nag Panchami, Sawan Shivratri, Pradosh Vrat and Kartik Purnima are also observed with special rituals and religious programmes.
