Temple Historyमंदिर का इतिहासఆలయ చరిత్ర
Tulsi Manas Temple is one of the most famous temples in Varanasi and is closely associated with the great saint-poet Goswami Tulsidas. According to tradition, this is the place where Tulsidas composed the Ramcharitmanas in the Awadhi language during the sixteenth century, making the story of Lord Ram accessible to ordinary people. The temple derives its name from this revered literary work.
The present marble temple was constructed in 1964 by the Sureka family of Kolkata. Built entirely of white marble, the temple features beautifully engraved verses from the Ramcharitmanas on its walls. Mechanical displays and sculptures illustrating important episodes from the Ramayana further enhance its spiritual and educational significance, making it a popular destination for pilgrims and visitors alike.
