Kali Khoh Temple is one of the most significant Shakti shrines in Uttar Pradesh and is revered as a sacred place where Goddess Kali is believed to bestow protection, courage and spiritual strength upon her devotees. The natural cave setting enhances the temple's spiritual atmosphere and makes it a unique pilgrimage destination.

The temple is an integral part of the sacred Vindhyachal Trikon Parikrama, alongside Vindhyavasini Devi Temple and Ashtabhuja Devi Temple. Kali Khoh Temple is one of the most revered Shakti shrines in Vindhyachal, located inside a natural cave on the Vindhya hills. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali, who is worshipped here as a fierce protector and a manifestation of Adi Shakti. It is one of the three principal temples forming the sacred Vindhyachal Trikon Parikrama, along with Vindhyavasini Devi Temple and Ashtabhuja Devi Temple.

According to long-standing temple tradition and references in the Devi Mahatmya tradition, Goddess Kali manifested at this site after destroying powerful demons to protect righteousness. The cave shrine has been a place of worship for centuries and continues to attract pilgrims from across India. Road: The temple is well connected by road and can be reached by buses, taxis and auto-rickshaws from Vindhyachal town. A short walk and steps lead to the cave temple.

Chaitra Navratri and Sharadiya Navratri are the most important festivals celebrated at Kali Khoh Temple. During these festivals, lakhs of devotees visit the cave shrine to offer red flowers, coconuts, chunri and prayers to Goddess Kali. The temple remains open for extended hours, and special devotional programmes and aartis are conducted throughout the celebrations.

Other important occasions include Kali Puja, Durga Puja, Kajali Mahotsav and Guru Purnima. Thousands of pilgrims also visit the temple while performing the traditional Trikon Parikrama, making it one of the busiest religious sites in the Vindhyachal region.
